Women During WW1

During World War 1 women were busy doing many different things. From Being part of the Army & Navy nurse corps to sowing their own seed. The Navy began to recruit women and they were finally allowed to be apart of the big picture.
It was not uncommon to see women working in munition factories, offices, and often helped to build aircraft. Women worked very hard during this time to show that they were not inferior to men. If it were not for the voluntary and involuntary work of the women during this time, the war would not have moved along so swiftly.
Although women were continually paid less, they did not mind it because they were showing what they were made of. Women were starting to gain more rights and respect during this time period and they were taking advantage of it.
